To train and encourage fuller participation of parishioners in liturgy

Offer training on all liturgical ministries to parishioners of all ages

Progress/Updates All liturgical Ministries offer training for interested parishioners periodically throughout the year. Procedures for the processes of providing these ministries are listed and handed to the trainees at the time of the training and are available to any current ministers for the asking.  The newest procedure documents are for Extra Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and Altar servers.

Educate parishioners in the tradition and understanding of sacred liturgy

Progress/Updates The liturgist with the help of the WSL Committee is researching tradition and ritual in the sacred litury and will be placing info in the bulletin on successive weekends and having a verbal pronouncement about a tradition and/or ritual associated with the sacred liturgy of the Eucharist given from the pulpit to help the parishioners understand the wonderful and rich heritage we have available to us in the sacred liturgy each and every weekend.

The next meeting is scheduled for March 4.
